Small write up over at Typophile identifying newly introduced typefaces with the redesign of the NY Times Magazine. New Type in New York Times Mag. I was particular interested in identifying Knockout, by Hoefler & Frere-Jones. Others include Lyon, by Atelier Carvalho Bernau for the main text, Nyte, by DSTYPE (Dino dos Santos), Process Type’s Sunday, and Bitstream’s Stymie Extra Bold.
