From my Austin set. This is what it’s all about. Some Strongbow and a pickle. Sun, good space. Nice weather. Cuddly, well mannered cat (inside, not pictured here).

In keeping with the Austin theme, I’m really enjoying the work of Aimee Wenske, Austin local. I found her via Pictory in which one of her photos (pictured below) was published for the “Neighborhood Treasure” photo story. Out of 31 entries, Aimiee’s is easily my favorite. That said, there are other equally brilliant, successful submissions on show thanks to the nice work by Pictory editors.
(Aimee’s entry at Pictory — also, check out her blog.)

Short featuring Jesse James as part of Austin Speed Shop. I like how they kick around Austin in their Hot Rods for lunch. Nicely shot/edited. Found via Austin Speed Shop website. Original post.

Went to Austin last weekend. Thanks to Amanda for letting me stay at her place and babysit/hang with Master Lux. I’m totally spoiled now. How could I stay anywhere else in Austin? More photos to come via my Flickr.
